Robin is a photographer from Bielefeld, Germany with a main focus on Portrait, Fashion and Reportage. Besides that he is pursuing personal art projects in which he often tries to increase the visibility of situations and feelings that are unnoticed most of the time. All of his projects are characterized by conceptual key elements like authenticity, individuality and a strong visual approach. He doesn’t want to chase the short living fame by creating superficial random content that is outdated by the date of appearance. Instead he is convinced that in every photograph there has to be more than just beauty. It has to tell a story based on emotions while the camera is the given tool to express.
With an academic background in photography he knows the importance of a coherent overall concept that goes beyond mere depiction. Therefore his style is sometimes described as foreign, cinematic and not very german, even though this is the place of his roots. Not by chance his influences are photographers and artists who did things a little bit differently. One thing he learned while building up his creative language is to be open for different influences and refine the visual language with curiosity.
